Bangladesh: Technical seminars tour by Novogen and Paragon teams throughout the country
Bangladesh is identified as an emerging country in Southeast Asia with a strong development potential for poultry production. Its population was estimated at 165 million in 2017, up from the 2014 estimate of 159 million, which makes Bangladesh the 8th most populous country in the world. Within that same period, egg consumption increased from 46 to 92 eggs/capita/year.
Paragon, NOVOGEN distributor, is a well-established company in the Bangladeshi poultry industry. In order to provide closer support to its customers, both NOVOGEN and Paragon have decided to organise a technical seminars tour throughout the country’s 64 districts. Each seminar takes place over 2 days and is aimed at layer farmers and poultry professionals who are actively involved in layer production.
Various field-oriented lectures are provided for attendees. Mr Abdullah Al Mamun, NOVOGEN Technical Manager in Bangladesh, presents technical recommendations regarding poultry management in order to optimise genetic potential. A special focus is given to management during the summer period. In addition, the Paragon team presents biosecurity concepts and practices specifically suited to layer farmers.
NOVOGEN has shown proven performance in Bangladesh for over a decade with products performing excellently and increasing in popularity day by day.
